Buyer guides / Best reconciliation automation software
Best reconciliation automation software
Reconciliation automation takes bank, card, intercompany and balance sheet data from many systems, matches it by rule, and leaves people to work the exceptions.
The tools here split by who they are built for: part of a full close platform for large corporates, part of an order-to-cash suite, part of an Oracle Cloud EPM module, or, in one case, built for banks and asset managers reconciling trades, positions and cash.

1
ChatFin
ChatFin is an AI agent platform for finance and accounting teams that connects to a company's existing ERP and runs close, AP, reconciliation and reporting work, routing each posting to a named approver.
Best for
Mid-market and enterprise teams that want bank, ledger and intercompany matching done inside the ERP they have, with exceptions ranked for a person to clear.
What it does
- Matches transactions across bank statements, ledgers and intercompany accounts, and flags and prioritizes exceptions.
- Agents draft journal entries and accruals, a person approves before anything posts to the ERP, and every action is logged for audit.
- Matches invoices to POs and goods receipts in the ERP within policy tolerances, handles partial receipts and unit-of-measure differences, and flags each mismatch with detail.
AI features
- Automation AI
- Module that runs multi-step workflows such as AP processing and multi-entity close coordination, with human approval gates and exception routing.
- Compliance AI
- Module that tracks SOX controls, expense policies, vendor limits and approval thresholds and flags exceptions.
- Analytics AI
- Module that produces variance analysis with written commentary, anomaly detection, forecasts from live ERP data, and KPI monitoring with alerts.
Connects to
Oracle NetSuite, Oracle Fusion Cloud, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, SAP Business One, SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Sage Intacct, Acumatica, QuickBooks Online, Workday, Snowflake, Epicor Kinetic, Infor CloudSuite, Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT.
Connects through each system's own APIs (for example SuiteQL for NetSuite, Service Layer for SAP Business One, AIS for JD Edwards) under a dedicated service account that keeps the ERP's role permissions, and queries data in place rather than copying it.
The About page says on-premise and hybrid ERP setups are supported.
Pricing
No pricing is published; ChatFin sells through demos, and its free trial page says the trial is open to selected companies only.
Watch out for
ChatFin's Product Hunt listing had no reviews when checked and independent reviews are scarce, so ask for customer references before buying. It can only work on the ERP and data systems it connects to.
2
Trintech Transaction Matching (Cadency)
Trintech (private; Plano, Texas). trintech.com
Trintech's matching product, part of the Cadency close platform for large enterprises.
Best for
Large, public and global companies with daily, high-volume matching such as GL-to-bank, card settlement, ACH/SEPA/Bacs transfers and payroll.
What it does
- Ingests transactions from ERPs, banks, POS systems, payment providers and external feeds in their native formats, then standardizes them.
- Configurable multi-way matching rules combined with AI matching, run daily on millions of transactions.
AI features
- Trintech Exception Management Agent
- Detects, classifies and prioritizes exceptions across transaction matching and reconciliation, work that teams otherwise triage by hand. Launched 28 September 2026.
Connects to
SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, Planful, ServiceNow.
Pricing
Not published.
Watch out for
ERP Research (August 2026) found public documentation for only 18 of the 50 close capabilities it tracks for Cadency and advises confirming specifics in a demo.
3
Duco
Duco (private; London). du.co
A cloud reconciliation and data platform for financial services firms.
Best for
Banks, asset managers, asset servicers, brokers and hedge funds reconciling cash, custody, positions, OTC confirmations and regulatory reporting data.
What it does
- Matching with user-set tolerances, roll-ups, fuzzy matching and multi-pass processing to cut false breaks.
- A multi-recon view across three or more reconciliation processes, with stated processing of 1 billion transactions per day.
AI features
- Agentic workspace
- Users describe a reconciliation in plain language and agents propose rules in Duco's no-code natural rule language, suggest match rate improvements and help manage exceptions. Agents are permissioned like users and humans approve every change.
Connects to
Model Context Protocol (MCP), AWS (hosting).
Pricing
No prices published; the site offers a demo request only.
Watch out for
Duco describes itself as purpose-built for capital markets and names no ERP connectors, so a corporate controller team reconciling ERP balance sheet accounts is outside its stated focus.
4
HighRadius Account Reconciliation
HighRadius (private). highradius.com
Reconciliation software inside HighRadius' record-to-report suite, which also covers close, intercompany and consolidation.
Best for
Enterprise and mid-market finance teams that want named AI agents for bank, POS, intercompany and cash reconciliations, especially if they already run HighRadius for order-to-cash.
What it does
- Auto-matching on amount, date and reference IDs plus AI-discovered matching rules, including one-to-many and many-to-many matches and match clusters.
- Exception flagging for missing entries, duplicates, timing gaps and unmatched items, routed for analyst review.
AI features
- Bank Reconciliation Agent
- Matches cash GL to bank statement transactions and prepares journals for missed entries.
Connects to
SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Sage.
Pricing
No prices on the reconciliation pricing page, which asks for contact details.
Watch out for
HighRadius' own FAQ puts implementation at 8 to 12 weeks depending on process complexity and entity count, and Gartner placed it as a Challenger, not a Leader, in the 2026 Magic Quadrant for Financial Close and Consolidation Solutions.
5
Oracle Cloud EPM Account Reconciliation
Oracle Corporation (NYSE: ORCL). oracle.com
The reconciliation module of Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM, with two parts: Reconciliation Compliance for balance certification and Transaction Matching for high-volume matching.
Best for
Enterprises already on Oracle Cloud EPM or Oracle Cloud ERP, since reconciliation sits in the same suite as consolidation and close.
What it does
- Transaction Matching for bank, subledger, intercompany, accrual and suspense reconciliations, with one-to-one, one-to-many, many-to-one, many-to-many and single-sided adjustment rules.
- Reconciliation Compliance with configurable formats, risk ratings, preparers, reviewers, approval levels and auto-certification.
AI features
- Transaction Matching Assistance
- Predictive AI that suggests likely one-to-one matches for transactions left unmatched after Auto Match, trained on your historical manual matches, with confidence scores.
Connects to
Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, EPM Integration Agent, REST APIs, EPM Automate, Oracle Smart View.
Pricing
Not published on the product page or datasheet; Oracle directs buyers to their Oracle account manager.
Watch out for
Transaction Matching Assistance only predicts one-to-one matches, and the AI Assistants need Fusion AI Agent Studio set up before they work.

Which one fits
Your exception queue is the bottleneck after matching runs every day
Pick Trintech Transaction Matching (Cadency). Trintech's Exception Management Agent sorts and prioritizes exceptions across matching and reconciliation, and its Data Access Agent pulls from systems with no API.
You run post-trade operations at a bank or asset manager
Pick Duco. Duco is built for cash, custody, positions and OTC confirmations, with fuzzy matching, tolerances and agents that propose rules for a person to approve.
You want to pay only after the system goes live
Pick HighRadius Account Reconciliation. HighRadius' Outcome Based Pricing, announced in February 2026, charges no implementation fee and no subscription until go-live, then takes a share of realized savings.
Your consolidation and close already run on Oracle Cloud EPM
Pick Oracle Cloud EPM Account Reconciliation. Reconciliation shares data and hierarchies with Oracle's consolidation module, and Transaction Matching Assistance trains on your past manual matches.
Questions to ask in a demo
- Show us your match rate on a sample of our own bank and card data, and how many items still need a person.
- Which match types do your AI suggestions cover: one-to-one only, or one-to-many and many-to-many too?
- When an agent proposes a match or a reconciling item, what does the reviewer see, and what is logged for the auditor?
- Which of our source systems have prebuilt connectors, and which would need file loads or custom work?
How we chose
We picked five tools for the job and checked every capability, integration and price on the vendor's own pages on 16 October 2026, or on a filing or news report. Figures are the vendors' own claims unless noted. We looked at eleven candidates.
The four besides ChatFin document both their matching rules (one-to-many, many-to-many, tolerances) and named AI features on their own pages.
One was dropped because its site names no AI features or specific integrations, and one because it targets close management for leaner teams more than high-volume matching. Four were not researched in depth once well-documented tools were confirmed.
ChatFin's entry uses facts from its own pages, checked on 9 October 2026.
